Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of the female reproductive organs. It most often occurs when sexually transmitted bacteria spread from your vagina to your uterus, fallopian tubes or ovaries.

Menopause

Menopause occurs when a woman hasn’t menstruated in 12 consecutive months and can no longer become pregnant naturally. It usually begins between the ages of 45 and 55. Menopause, also known as the climacteric.

Infertility

Infertility  is a disease in which the ability to get pregnant and give birth to a  child is impaired or limited in some way.  Infertility means not being  able to get pregnant after at least one year of trying (or 6 months if  the woman is over age 35).

Ovarian Cancer

A cancer that begins in the female organs that produce eggs (ovaries).

Dysmenorrhea

Menstrual cramps ,dysmenorrhea are throbbing or cramping pains in the lower abdomen. Many women have menstrual cramps just before and during their menstrual periods.

Uterine Fibroid

Uterine fibroids, also called leiomyomas or myomas, are growths that appear in the uterus. They're made of uterine muscle.

PCOS and PCOD

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease) is a common endocrine system disorder among women of reproductive age. Patients with PCOD have abnormal levels of hormones that result in irregular menses, infertility and certain masculine changes in the body.

Irregular Periods

Irregular periods/menses include periods that occur fewer than 21 days or more than 35 days apart, missing three or more periods in row, and menstrual flow that’s much heavier or lighter than usual.
